The reign years of King Seonjong of Goryeo (宣宗, 선종), by which Korean histories date 1084–1095: 1084 is Seonjong 1, 1095 Seonjong 12. Seonjong (宣宗, 선종): the years of the reign of King Seonjong of Goryeo. The Goryeosa, the history of Goryeo, dates events by the reigning king’s year (reign years (Korea)): 1093 is Seonjong 10 (선종 10년). The first year is 1084, the year after the accession in 1083; the rest of 1083 still counts for the predecessor. Before: Sunjong. After: Heonjong.
