Chinese era name (大德) of the Yuan for the years 1297–1307: 1297 is Dade 1 (元年) and Dade 11 is 1307. Dade (大德) is a Chinese era name (nianhao) of the Yuan, proclaimed in 1297 under Temür (成宗). Its years are counted in lunar years: 1297 is Dade 1 (元年), 1307 its last year, Dade 11. A Chinese source dates a year within it as “Dade 2” (大德二年) rather than by a continuous count. Before: Yuanzhen.
