Japanese era name (建武) for the years 1334–1337: 1334 is Kemmu 1 (元年) and Kemmu 4 is 1337. Kemmu (建武) is a Japanese era name (nengō), proclaimed in 1334. Its years are counted in lunar years from the new year before the proclamation: 1334 is Kemmu 1 (元年), 1337 its last year, Kemmu 4.
