Japanese era name (延喜) for the years 901–922: 901 is Engi 1 (元年) and Engi 22 is 922. Engi (延喜) is a Japanese era name (nengō), proclaimed in 901. Its years are counted in lunar years from the new year before the proclamation: 901 is Engi 1 (元年), 922 its last year, Engi 22.
